“I have known Cyrlene for a number of years. I remember being introduced to her via a mutual friend Beverley Notes. At the time I had a radio show called “British Reggae non stop show” a as show dedicated to raising the awareness of uk artists. It so happened, round about the same time, Cyrlene had created a talent show called “City link up” then created “Britains Got Reggae”. I would interview many of her artists who are to perform on her talent shows. From the very first time that I met Cyrlene, She is one of the few hard-working sisters who gives her all despite all she is going through in her personal life. Cyrlene Puts a lot of effort and spotlight on the uk reggae scene, of which I’m so proud of all she has achieved so far. I can’t but help feel she doesn’t get the credit she deserves. I don’t know where Cyrlene gets the Energy to pull off everything she does. Thank You Cyrlene for your selflessness, dedication, focus & vision. You are a blessing to many🙏🏿❤️ "

“We at BBC Radio Leicester have been following Cyrlene's journey as she set up Britain’s Got Reggae when it first began in 2015. I know she’s a passionate supporter of people in the Leicester music scene – and we’ve been able to feature several of them and watch them flourish, such as Jah Marnyah. Its fantastic to see her operating now throughout the country promoting not only reggae as an art form, but also her own business which has gone from strength to strength.”

“Taking part in Britain's Got Reggae competition was an amazing experience for me. As an artist and performer, I have learnt a lot on how to prepare a show more effectively as well as to how to deal with the little pre-show pressure and deliver a great performance. I took part two years in a row and received mostly constructive feedback. Throughout the period I was involved, I was able to focus on bettering my vocal ability and be more strict with myself in terms of lyrics and appearance. I also met lovely and inspiring people, including many other artists who were all committed to being at their best, which created a friendly, productive and sometimes challenging atmosphere. I believe in Britain's Got Reggae ability in providing a serious ground to the artistic growth of UK music artists and representing a wide range of the Reggae genre”
